Wheels are really all the same, just different hardness. Try to find a width and diameter that you like. Thin skinny wheels are for tech skatin and bigger and wider are for vert. BUT it is really up to you. Rotate your wheels once and a while so that your board will ride even.

A-Team

Advantages:

Hard, rolls smooth

Disadvantages:

None right now

Comments:

I got the same ones as Dylan, and I have only been riding them for a week or 2 and they have a flat spot! I won't get another set thats for sure.

I got the glow-in-the-dark wheels, and the are really good, they roll smooth and last long. Review by Dylan

Blank

Advantages:

Last as long as brand name, cheap.

Disadvantages:

Dont know what you are getting.

Comments:

I only buy blanks because I feel there is no real difference in wheels. They pretty much are all the same, just different hardness and sizes. Blanks for me vary, I have got flat spots, core popping out and wheels that last a couple months, so you got to gamble when you buy them, because you really dont know what you are getting.

Hook-Ups

Advantages:

Last long, good wheels.

These are wicked wheels, they lasted forever (mainly cause I skated indoor) but still really good wheels. They are hard to find though. Review by Andrew Rehill.

Powell (Mini Logo)

Disadvantages:

Wear down fast!!

Comments:

I bought these I wanted to try a name brand wheel. These where really good, they rolled smooth and where fast, but they did not last long, they went from 56mm to 50 in less then a year, I kind of thought that was alot.Still not bad wheels

Ricta

Rolls fast, quite and smooth!

Disadvantages:

None yet

Comments:

I tryed these out on Kevin's board and they where really nice! They felt like a soft wheel at first, but they rolled really smooth and quick like a hard wheel! I am hoping to get the Ed Templeton core wheels soon.

Spitfire

Slippery, Rough

These things last forever! Steve's wheels lasted him 3 years!, I tried them out and they where a little bit slippery. They are by far the longest lasting wheel.

Spitfires are not that good. Mine frayed after 3 weeks and where chunky and rough. Review by Ryan Rogers
